The American Red Cross ARC was formed in 1881 as non-profit humanitarian organization founded by the American Civil War nurse Clara Barton (Clarissa Harlowe Barton; 1821-1912). Printed by Edwards and Deutsch Litho and Co Chicago. Good condition, restored tears, small restored paper loss in margin, staining, foxing, backed on linen.
